System Introduction |
EAST Auxiliary heating high-voltage power supply (HVPS) system is composed of four types of -50kV~-100kV DC high-voltage power supply system, which supply LHCD system, ECRH system and NBI system. The total installed capacity is about 80MW, which provides a strong guarantee for EAST high-parameter and high-performance operation. 1) 2.45GHz-4MW Low Hybrid Current Drive (LHCD) HVPS system. 2) 4.6 GHz-6MW Low Hybrid Current Drive (LHCD) HVPS system. 3) 140GHz-4MW Electron Cyclotron Resonance Heating (ECRH) HVPS system. 4) 80keV-8MW Neutral Beam Injection (NBI) HVPS system. |

System State |
The construction tasks of the four sets of high voltage power supply system have been completed and so the four HVPS system have joined in the EAST physics experiment smoothly. During the EAST experiment, the system runs safely and stably with low failure rate,and during EAST maintenance, various maintenance work will be carried out to improve the reliability of the system. |

2.45GHz LHCD-HVPS |
n In 2001, four sets of 33kV/40A SCR phase-controlled power supply were built, which successively served the HT-7 Tokomak and EAST Tokomak. n In 2011, four sets of 20kV/50A PSM power supplies were added to form four 50kV/50A power supplies in series with the phase-control unit to meet the requirements of 2.45GHz -4MW LHCD on EAST. n In 2018, four sets of 33kV/40A SCR phase-controlled power supply parts were transformed into PSM units, which reached 50kV/50A overall and improved the power supply operation efficiency. |

n In 2012, four sets of 50kV/75A PSM high voltage power supply were built to serve 4.6GHz-6MW LHCD on EAST. n In 2014, in order to deal with the occasional low-order harmonic interference on the gird side, high-frequency PSM has been modified to improve the power regulation capability. |

n In 2013, the first set of 70kV/80A PSM high voltage power supply was built to provide cathode high voltage for GYCOM 1# gyrotron. n In 2015, the second set of 70kV/80A PSM high voltage power supply was built to provide cathode high voltage for GYCOM 3# gyrotron. |

80keV NBI-HVPS |
n In 2008, the construction of 100kV/100A high-voltage power supply test platform was completed and put into NBI, LHCD test bench experiment and test operation. n In 2012, 2 sets of 80kV/70A NBI HVPS for window A-NBI were built and put into EAST experiment. n In 2015, 2 sets of 80kV/70A NBI HVPS for window F-NBI were built and put into EAST experiment. n In 2017, 4 sets of oil-immersed gradient resistors were transformed into air-cooled structures, which reduced the maintenance cost and difficulty of the system. n In 2018, the 110kV oil-immersed isolation transformer safety protection and installation project of EAST auxiliary heating system was completed. Firewalls were added to 4 indoor oil-immersed transformers to improve the safety and reliability of the system. |
